Virginia's Piano Story

My name is Virginia and I am 16 years old. I first started playing piano when I was 7 years old and began taking lessons with Archee at the same age. Soon after beginning piano, I also started taking voice lessons from Archee. In those lessons, I worked on solo repertoire while working on vocal technique, and learned about harmonization when I sang with a group. In the years I have been studying piano, I have learned about reading music as well as learning the best technique for playing the piano. Archee has not only taught me how to play the piano and sing, but how to understand the music in front of me. Over the years, Archee has prepared me for the guild program, which increases in difficulty each year. With her guidance, I have received local and national certificates. Since I first began, the piano has been something that has brought me joy. It is a way that I can express my emotions without using words. Instead, I can express my feelings through a language everyone can understand: music. Taking lessons with Archee has helped me realize that I have a passion for music, and I plan to study it in the future. Shown below are videos when Virginia was young and now as a teenager.

In this video Virginia is singing

the three Christmas Carols that

I, Archee Moffitt composed myself

the harp accompainment and vocal part.

Harrison's Piano Story

Hello, my name is Harrison Zhao and I have been playing piano for over 10 years as well as singing from time to time. Ever since I was little, I was naturally drawn to the piano, playing incoherent melodies for fun. Hoping to learn more, I decided to start piano lessons, and it has been one of the best decisions of my life. To me, playing the piano is like being transported into another world of just me and the piano, the piano being an extension of myself. Each piece I play is like a different video game character as every piece has its own personality and quirks, and I love that about piano and music in general. I especially like pieces from the Romantic Period or pieces that are delicate and full of emotion. They are beautiful and every note needs attention to detail to create that beauty, I love piano and music, there is something in it for everyone, and I implore you to experience it yourself. Shown below are videos when Harrison was young and now as a teenager. Vivaldi "Spring", Lennon "Imagine", Bach "Two Part Invention No. 1", Debussy "Golliwogg"

Alexa's Singing Story

Hello my name is Alexa Krieg. I've been taking voice lessons at Piano Forte Music School for about 3 years now. I really like taking lessons at Piano Forte Music School because my teachers' directions are very clear. And if I go home and forget what to do.I have a paper that my teacher gives me every lesson that has all the instructions I need! Like what to do, what day my lesson is on, and even a calendar to track what days I practice. Another thing I like about Pianoforte Music School is that my teacher teaches me vocal technique. Now what do I mean by vocal technique? I mean how to breathe, how to stand, where my voice should be placed, and what should be moving when I breathe. The reason that vocal technique is so important is because if you don't have good vocal technique it can affect your singing and that's not good for me and for your ears. Sometimes my lessons are hard but it is what makes me good, but if I'm being honest if your child does not liked to be pushed and needs a more gentle approach this is not for them. But if your child is ready to be pushed to the best they can be this is the place they can really improve.Thank you for reading have a good day.
